Windsor Estates specializing in therapy and rehab required after accident, injury, or surgery. Our state-of-the-art rehab facility accelerates recovery, offering physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and respiratory therapy.

Our in-house therapists are available 7 days a week to ensure each resident’s personalized care plan is a top priority. Therapy and rehab is available as needed to both our short-term and long-term guests.

Cardiac Rehabilitation

Our Cardiac Management Program is tailored to meet our guests needs for post-acute care as a result of:

  • Congestive Heart Failure
  • Post Coronary Artery Bypass Surgery
  • Post Myocardial Infarction / Heart Attack
  • Coronary Artery Disease
  • Angina Management
  • Coumadin Management
  • Weight and Fluid Management
  • Other Cardiac Diseases

Our Cardiac Program includes:

  • Collaboration with a board-certified Cardiologist providing on-site consultations and care
  • Cardiac-specific trained nurses and aides
  • Medication management including anticoagulant with a pharmacist consultant
  • Therapy Interventions – up to 7 days a week of physical and occupational therapy
  • On-site diagnostics including digital x-rays, labs and EKGs
  • Patient and sponsor education
  • Nutritional services and registered dieticians
  • Therapeutic activities and psycho-social support
  • Case Management and discharge planning services

Dialysis Suite

Windsor Estates has a 10 chair 2 bed dialysis suite that meets the needs of our most medically challenged guests. Our dialysis suite has the feel of an upscale spa. It is warm and inviting and can accommodate up to 12 guests at a time. Relax during dialysis in a heated chair, Internet, or TV, movie, or music of your choice.

Wound Care

At Windsor Estates, our Wound Care Program is dedicated to rehabilitating our guest as quickly as possible.

We write a personalized care plan for each of our guests upon discharge. This includes post-operative wound care and preventative skincare. We change your dressings, monitor progress, and accelerate the healing time.

Our program features:

  • Collaboration with an on-staff Wound Specialist Physician
  • Dedicated, certified and specialized Wound Care Nurses
  • State-of-the-art rehabilitation and equipment with Physical and Occupational Therapy up to 7 days per week
  • Treatment protocols featuring nutrition interventions, electronic stimulation, ultrasound, and wound vac treatment
  • Wound-trained interdisciplinary team evaluation and review

Hospice Care

Our hospice services are designed to provide patients with the combined medical, psychological, and spiritual support they require during their final days. We work closely with each resident’s primary care physician to ensure pain management and overall comfort are of highest priority.

Respite Care

We understand your need for care is not always long-term. Whether your private caregiver is out of town, the family caregiver is going on a vacation, or you simply need a break from your loved one’s increased need for hands-on care—we offer respite care as a safe solution for your short-term needs.

Although the stay is short, we will create a personalized care plan for each resident, allowing you the peace of mind you require so that you can enjoy your much needed time off.

Infusion Therapy

Infusions are used to provide intravenous medications to treat everything from infection to pain and terminal illness. By offering infusion therapy from Home Choice Partners, we can reduce the time spent in the hospital for both our short-term and long-term residents.

Some of our residents require infusions on an ongoing basis, while others only on an as-needed basis. Either way, we extend a wide-range of infusion services to our residents in the comfort of their own room.

  • Factor replacement therapy for Hemophilia
  • Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition Immunoglobulin, Intravenous, and Subcutaneous
